This drainer holds cutlery in three separate compartments rather than one crowded bin, so knives, forks and spoons dry apart instead of tangled together. Each compartment has a slightly sloped floor, angled to guide water down and away. The shape is plain and quiet, with the flat planes and calm proportions that mark it out as Japandi rather than fussy or ornamental.
It belongs by the sink, sitting on the draining board or the counter beside it. Load it after washing up and let it do the slow work of drying while you get on with the rest of the kitchen. The three-way split also makes it easy to keep types of cutlery sorted, so you are not fishing a teaspoon out from under the carving knives.
It measures about 14 by 10 by 9 centimetres, small enough to sit tidily on most draining boards without crowding the rest of the washing-up. The model prints in one piece and needs no supports, which keeps the surfaces clean. It is printed to order in our Cyprus studio and shipped worldwide.
