This coaster takes the shape of a record caught in motion, its surface ringed with fine grooves the way vinyl catches the light when it turns. The centre sits slightly raised, so a mug or glass rests with a bit of texture underneath rather than a flat plain circle.
Keep it on the desk by the laptop, or on the side table where a cup tends to land. It is the kind of small object you stop noticing until a guest picks it up to look closer, turning it over the way you would an actual record.
