This holder stands upright, its sides ridged with fine horizontal ribs that catch the light and give it a bit of grip in the hand. The form is simple: a wide base narrowing slightly, open at the top to hold whatever you drop into it.
By the bathroom sink it keeps toothbrushes upright and separate. On the desk it does the same job for pens and pencils, gathering them into one spot instead of letting them roll about. Either way, it asks nothing of you beyond setting it down where you need it.
