This tray takes its shape from a stone worn flat and round by moving water. The sides are cut at gentle angles and the centre is hollowed out, giving it a form that looks natural rather than made, with a plain, matte finish that lets the shape do the talking.
Set it on the desk or by the door and it becomes the spot where keys, coins and small odds and ends land at the end of the day. It has the quiet look of something that belongs wherever you put it, whether that is next to a lamp or on a shelf in the hall.
It measures about 17 by 13 centimetres, and stands 4.8 centimetres deep, enough to hold a decent handful of small items without spilling. Each tray is printed to order in our studio in Cyprus and shipped worldwide.
