This is a wolf reduced to its essentials: head thrown back, body upright, the howl suggested through a few pared-back curves rather than any fine detail. The surface is smooth and plain, letting the silhouette carry the whole piece.
Stand it on a shelf, a windowsill, or anywhere you keep a small sculpture that catches the eye without asking much of the space around it. It is one figure in a set of three howling wolves, so if you like the shape, it sits naturally alongside its two brothers.
