This is a seated orangutan, but only just — the form is pared back to soft, rounded shapes that suggest a figure more than depict one. The finish is smooth throughout, with no sharp edges or fine detail to distract from the pose. The whole thing has a gathered, folded-in quality, as if the animal is turned inward.
It asks for a quiet spot rather than a busy one. Set it on a shelf, a windowsill, or anywhere your eye rests when you are not doing anything in particular. It is a piece for looking at over time, not for explaining to guests.
It stands about 14.3 cm tall, 12.8 cm wide, and 14.7 cm deep, printed as a single piece. It is printed to order in our Cyprus studio and shipped worldwide, so allow a little time between order and arrival.
