This bowl takes the shape of an old, hollow tree, its trunk gnarled and split open at the top to hold whatever you put inside. The bark texture runs right round the piece, with small knots and cracks worked into the surface so it reads as a tree first and a bowl second.
Set it out at the door on Halloween night, filled with sweets for whoever knocks. The rest of the year it earns its keep on the desk, holding paperclips, spare change, or anything else that tends to drift into small piles. Its shape means it never quite disappears into the background.
It measures about 29 cm across, 28 cm deep and 23 cm tall, printed in one piece. The many small details in the bark mean it is best kept close to this size rather than scaled down. It is printed to order in our Cyprus studio and shipped worldwide.
